Dr. Myneni is a board-certified gastroenterologist who has practiced gastroenterology with Iowa Digestive Disease Center since 2003. Dr. Myneni provides gastroenterology services at the Clarke County Clinic several times monthly. He practices general gastroenterology with a special interest in Esophageal diseases. He is proficient in colon and upper endoscopy, ERCP, Barrett’s ablation procedures ( Barrx procedure ), esophageal pH, motility testing and capsule endoscopy.

Dr. Myneni graduated with an MBBS from Andhra Medical College, Visakhapatnam, India. He completed his Internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at Southern Illinois University hospitals in Springfield, Illinois. He taught and practiced gastroenterology at Springfield Clinic for two years before he moved to central Iowa and joined IDDC.

He continues to teach medical students at Des Moines University and resident physicians at Mercy Medical Center and Lutheran hospital residency programs. He also serves veterans at the Des Moines area VA hospital and volunteers at the Free Clinics of Iowa.

He enjoys traveling with his family, landscape & travel photography and golf.
