2019 Clarke County Hospital DAISY Award Winner

On May 17, Hospital week culminated with the presentation of the 2019 DAISY Award to Kira Preston. Nominated by patients, the DAISY Award recognizes “Extraordinary Nurses” and their ongoing commitment to patient care and experience. 

Well known for her positive attitude with patients, families and co-workers, Kira goes above and beyond in delivering quality, personalized care to every patient she works with.

Kira has been an RN in Med-Surg and in the emergency department of Clarke County Hospital for ten years. She has her BSN, is a SANE trained nurse and is also one of our EPIC trainers. 

We are very proud of Kira and the commitment to excellence she brings to all of her responsibilities at Clarke County Hospital.
