Visitor Information and Resources

At Clarke County Hospital, we understand how important it is for our patients to have the support of their loved ones during their recovery process. That's why we've put together a comprehensive guide to help make your visit as convenient and comfortable as possible. Our visitor guidelines and information will not only assist you in navigating our facilities, but also provide you with important information about our hospital. If you have any questions or need further assistance, our hospital volunteers and team members are always available to help. Current Visitor Restrictions 

Changes to the Visitors Policy will be updated as necessary. 

Clarke County Hospital is open 24 hours, 7 days a week for visitors. Between the hours of 6:30 am and 7:00 pm Monday through Friday, Saturday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Sunday 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, visitors may enter the hospital through the main entrance. Visitors may also enter through the North Entrance or Emergency Room entrance after hours.

There may be situations when it is clinically necessary or reasonable for CCH to restrict or limit a patient's visitation rights in order to provide safe care to the patient or other patients.

Minors under the age of 18 are welcome to visit as long as they are supervised by an adult who is not the patient.

Family members, loved ones, or visitors should not visit when they are ill. This includes but is not limited to the following signs and symptoms:

  • Cough
  • Sore Throat
  • Body Aches
  • Headache
  • Fever or Chills

As a visitor, you are part of the patient's care team. Please be sure to view current masking and visitor policies. Please clean your hands with hand sanitizer or wash with soap and water prior to or upon entrance of a patient's room

Public Wi-Fi

Wi-Fi is available upon request. Please ask a nurse or care provider for more information.

Tobacco Free

Clarke County Hospital is a tobacco-free facility, which prohibits smoking and chewing on campus. If you feel that this could become a problem for you, please notify your admitting nurse. 

Alcohol/Drugs

The possession and consumption of alcohol and non-prescribed drugs is prohibited on the hospital campus.
