Clarke County Hospital Now Offering Primary Care Appointments on Weekends

Clarke County Clinic is very excited to announce that Teresa Palmer, PA (Physician Assistant), is now offering Primary Care appointments on Fridays, from 7 am to 7 pm, and on weekends from 9 am to 5 pm.

Teresa will provide primary care services such as diabetes management, annual physicals, DOT physicals, well-child exams, medication management, and more. Patients now have Teresa as an additional choice when selecting their primary care providers. Teresa Palmer is a certified Physician Assistant. She graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical School and has 20 years of experience.

Primary care services and appointments on the weekend is an additional way for patients to receive convenient medical care. Patients will find the same high-quality care they've come to expect close to home, with easy access to x-ray, blood work, and more.

Our clinic team of physicians and advanced practice providers are committed to understanding the patient, their family, and all the patient's and family's health care needs so that we can deliver high-quality care centered around each family member. Clarke County Clinic also offers Walk-In care to our patients when they need health care and their regular health care provider is not available. No appointment is necessary for the Walk-In Clinic. We will continue to offer Walk-In services from 7 am to 7 pm Monday through Friday and on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 am to 5 pm.

The Walk-In Clinic will continue to provide treatments for minor illnesses and injuries such as: 

  • Coughs, Colds, Flu
  • Sinus and Ear Infections
  • Urinary Tract Infections
  • Minor Cuts, Burns, and Lacerations
  • Seasonal Allergies, Mild Asthma
  • Sprains, Strains, and Broken Bones
  • Fever and Sore Throat
  • Skin Infections, Rashes, Bug Bites
  • Pink Eye and Other, Mild Eye Complaints
