Clarke County Hospital is the founding member of the Incident Command Task Force.  Clarke County Emergency Management and Public Health have been significant partners in this process, obtaining PPE and building a communication link between Clarke County and The State Health Department.  Participation by all task force members has been critical in understanding the broader community need and developing community communications that keep the latest information in front of area residents.

Community businesses and individuals have also been very supportive!  Hundreds of homemade masks were sewn by locals and donated to the Hospital for distribution throughout the community.  Individuals and businesses supported healthcare workers by providing meals, gift cards, and small gifts.  This positive support and show of appreciation were critical for maintaining the morale and lessening area healthcare workers' anxiety as they worked through the pandemic.
